Karla Phillips-Krivickas is senior director of policy of KnoweldgeWorks, a national nonprofit based in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she leads development and execution of state policy strategy and partners with other states to transform policy systems to support personalized learning. She is a former policy director for the Foundation for Excellence in Education, a special assistant to the Deputy Superintendent at the Arizona Department of Education, a Governor’s Education Policy Advisor, and a vice chair of the Developmental Disabilities Planning Council.
